Mr. Hochman has very interesting stories from life experiences and will have many more to come.”

Mr. Hochman speaks about a case that was special to him:

A prospective client came in to see me and I could tell he was nervous. He had lost most of the sight in one eye due to an industrial accident and the company, through the Bureau of Workers' Compensation, had paid all of his medical bills.

He told me that the employer had offered him what they stated was the "usual amount" for the loss of an eye. He was in our office at the urging of his wife. He was afraid that we would not be able to get him additional compensation and that we would charge a fee on what had already been offered.

We accepted the gentleman's case and got him an award of over three times what had been offered. Needless to say, both he and his wife were delighted. The additional funds we got for them were substantial and made a big difference in their being able to handle the bills accumulating during his convalescence. .
